it pains me that if you had gone out with us that day, you and i would’ve ended up together…. you’re the man of my dreams (literally) and i would be happy to spend the rest of my life with you. please don’t tell me i’m beautiful anymore. don’t try to cheer me up and list all the great things about me. don’t be the sweetest guy ever and call me at two in the morning just because you were thinking about me, hoping life was being a bit kinder toward me. don’t tell me how much your friends like me. don’t ask me when i’ll be back in town so you could take the day off and spend it with me. please don’t be everything i could ever ask for… because you have a girlfriend and from what you tell me, are very happy with her.
